We believe that the Great Commission not only calls us to go and baptize
disciples, but it also calls us to teach disciples to obey everything that
Christ has commanded them. Our strategy for our discipleship process is a
very important part of the structure of the way we do church. Journey Church is planning some great events for these next couple years to grow the talents that God has blessed us with. We have a 101-401 class structure for our discipleship program that is designed to develop each individual to their God-given purpose. This will be the driving approach for our discipleship process.
Journey Church’s discipleship program is designed for anyone who desires
to grow in his or her relationship with God. They are taken consecutively and
each class must be completed before one can move onto the next class.
Freshman – 100 Series
Sophomore – 200 Series
Junior – 300 Series
Senior – 400 Series
This series will cover topics like beginning steps
in faith, spiritual disciplines, forgiveness, sharing the faith, God, Jesus,
the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, leadership, etc. This program will be
constantly updated and developed to most effectively be relevant to our church
and the culture.
